Agree with some others below, Terry used an SG (and a strat) on the first several albums. I have an SG and when I play it thru a Pig nose amp….I would bet my bottom dollar that is exactly what he played this song on. Staying on the bridge PU, amp up all the way, cut the guitar volume to half…that is the intro and rhythm part, then for lead part wing it all full open….let me know what you think.

Man, they just don't make licks like this anymore. I can remember listening to my AM Transistor radio on those summer days of the late 60s to mid 70s when so many bands were pumping out top 10 hits like cars on a GM assembly line. And not just one hit wonders. Chicago was one of the hit maaskers and they really rocked when they were Chicago Transit Authority. Todays music they don't even play instruments. It really sucks that people think rap and hip-hop bullshit is music. Anyone can talk fast like ghetto punks and call it music. It's trash at best.
Fantastic work as usual Tom. I just came across the Leonid and Friends version of this song and was really impressed with their work. I immediately thought I bet you had done this one as well, and sure enough! I was never a huge Chicago fan but now appreciate their musicality. I read somewhere that even Hendrix spoke glowingly of Terry Kath and that he rated him better than himself!
