I love your enthusiasm while playing/teaching these songs. I love shredding.. but i cannot stop feeling it like an exercise. When i want to express my self while having having fun i always prefer this kind of songs

  2. Ken M says:

GREAT lesson. You really laid it out well. I appreciated the repetition, and specifying what notes you were playing (Sometimes it's hard to tell on YT, which fingers
are actually doing the fretting). Peter Green was truly one of a kind. Best tone that B.B. King ever heard, per the King. Thanks so much.

  3. Dave Robinson says:

I’m not a guitarist so not looking for a tutorial, but wow – that was a joy to listen to all the way through – many thanks dude! I was 15 years old in 1969 when this song was released and have loved it ever since – you have brought an increased clarity to it – now gonna check out your other stuff!

All the best, Dave Robinson, London UK

Your videos are super, this one also – BUT, a suggestion: You don´t need that distortion, it only muddles the playing. You only need the raw power of your Les Paul humbucker straight into the amp. Just listen to the studio original or any live version. Fleetwood Mac never used any distortion pedals, believe me – I saw them live 1969 close up first row, playing Oh Well, Man of the World, Albatross a.s.o. Both Peter Green and Danny Kirwan plugged their Les Pauls straight into Orange stacks and thus kept the "Body" of the guitar tone raw. Seems to me that "Electric Guitar" today equals a totally uncalled for distortion, I guess the Pedal manufacturers has succeeded in making rock guitarists almost addicted to dist. One notable exception was Stevie Ray Vaughan. Anyway, Your tutorials are among he best on YT, especially the acoustic ones. Keep up the Good Work!

  5. Mimi YouYou says:

Peter Green could shred and also design such melodic tones, that were so artful he had so much talent, so much.R.I.P . Im glad he was happy in the end and thankfully went back to his music.

  6. Bruce Reed says:

Your instruction on this is the best!! Great job in breaking it down so adeptly. I am having a hard time concentrating because I keep looking at your beautiful Les Paul. I just love the way the burgundy finish looks with the pickups & appointments!
