  1. Felix de Saracho says:

Although I will concede it’s probably not their “best” record, it is the one I enjoy the most and I’ve been a big fan since 95-96. A fitting psychedelic side of Radiohead I hadn’t heard this fully before.

On a sidenote, I also felt that capping the album off at Tinker Tailor would have made the album even stronger: capped at 10 songs, Tinker sounds and even ends like an album ender, Numbers /Present Tense and Tinker flow beautifully together, and I feel True Love Waits definitely influenced many listeners, including Mr. Fantano, to categorize the album as ‘sad’ when it really isn’t to my ear. I feel that song was a bit unnecessary and left a strong tone which influenced the experience as a whole a bit too much. I actually skip it every time I listen to the whole record, sort of creating my fantasy tracklist without it.
