ive noticed when im decesding i wanna downstroke the next string (while playing 3 notes per string)even though its supposed to be an upstroke…i dont know if i should try an fix this or if im just stuck with it…any advice would be appreiciated

  2. Braiden Harpold says:

For those of you wondering, the part at 1:41 sounds familiar because it is the same part that is played at the beginning of Anastasia by slash, I spent hours figuring out where the hell I heard it before, so that you don’t have to, also some people are saying it’s from I’m not a vampire, but if you’re not an emo middle school kid, then it’s probably Anastasia that you’ve heard before. You’re welcome

  3. [Jake] says:

You're just explaining how to play particular riffs. So many guitar lessons on youtube have someone saying everyone note of every lick they play and it just fuzzes my concentration into mush. I'm sure the secret to shredding lies in the picking hand. Would've been great if you could have talked more about that and practice routines for that instead of noodling

  4. SJS says:

I always somehow end up back on this vid from 8 tears ago for practice. Happy your're still here with us today in 2020 Bobby!!

  5. SlavicSoul says:

Secret to shredding (and high level play on any instrument, besides harmonica etc) is this: if you were not born with an ability to control left and right hand separately than you won't be able to learn it. Simple.

  6. Jacob Wuttke says:

Extremely valuable information here, better than so many “tutorials” by professionals where they just show off and make you feel lousy. Awesome video dude, much appreciated.

  7. B Augmented says:

why did you play the first part in A minor then do the second half (The higher tones) in E minor?… You used the same shape yes but its a useless to me at this moment. Why couldn't you show us a different set of shapes to connect with the A minor instead? Do you have a video that can represent what I am talking about because This pattern flows but the patterns I am coming up with guitar-wise are "wonky"
