I have a book called speed mechanics however its aimed at shred guitar and it appears most jazz ( not fusion) is picked notes??

Très intéressant, d'autant qu'il n'y a pas besoin de savoir l'anglais pour comprendre la vidéo… Vos Ebooks reprennent-ils les dialogues des vidéos achetées car pour les non anglophones, en traduisant avec google translate, on a une idée approximative des dialogues des vidéos. A défaut, on achète des vidéos où l'on voit un personnage qui parle, qui parle, qui parle longuement… mais comme on ne comprend pas l'anglais…cela ressemble malheureusement à un film sans parole et on a payé pour rien ! lol

The camera is not close enough to the frets we cannot make out any of these licks, so sad, needs better lighting, PLEASE RE DO THIS VIDEO WITH BETTER LIGHTING, AND SLOW DOWN EACH LICK, PUT CAMERA ABOUT 12 INCHES IN FRONT OF FRETS, PLEASE, MANY GUITARIST YOU CAN HELP WHO WANT TO KNOW THESE LICK LIKE YOU DO.

Just listened to lick 100 the George Benson lick – You've written it out using sixteenth notes, yet the drums/rhythm section is playing a fast shuffle which would make these eighth notes. This groove would have to be hip hop/shuffle funk for this lick to be sixteenths…
Lick 99 is wrong because last bar (Cmaj 7) the first three notes are written as an eighth note triplet and when you play this lick, you play it as regular eighth notes…
Good resource though all the same. Thanks for putting these licks up. I ain't checked them all yet, but if I come across any more notation mistakes, I'll be sure to let you know…
