  1. Richard James says:

I am a fan of King Crimson, Tortoise and Henry Cow. I can hear the musical influences but with a lot more urgency. There is discipline in the complicated musical structure and the vocals could reference at times David Sylvian and , Scott Walker with various other elements of surprise being thrown into the aural schmorgesborg of delight. This band is very talented and is truly pushing the sonic boundaries.

  2. T K says:

You really don't see this level of originality and creativity come along very often. Takes a couple of minutes of doubt and confusion at first, but it starts to grow on you. Amazing commitment to a fresh vision.

  3. Paap Narf ZK says:

draw a line between the more experimental bands from the 60s over to the 80s and 90s and you will land on the black midi spot :D. its not only beefheart, mothers, can, sharrock brötzmann, king crimson, minutemen and firehose, sonic youth etc etc they sound like they know their stuff plus own a personal style
