Metal heads been jammin to this shit for 30 years, we don't like the system either.
This song is 30 years old and came out as a response to the killing of Rodney King. The lead singer is Mexican-American and has a PHD in anthropology. The drummer has a masters in political science and is a Black American man. The best and saddest part about Rage Against the Machine is that their lyrics are always relevant. RATM was a very politically charged and forceful band that had a lot of good shit to say and the talent to back it up.
