In this video you will be able to see the insane power of the Andrews pitchfork. Mastering this tool is one of the great challenges and benefits in all technical analysis because you will be able to use Andrews pitchfork trading strategies like the Newtonian trading strategy in the most efficient way possible. The Newtonian strategy can be seen as an Andrews pitchfork course with some extra features like the fundamental principles of physics that allow pitchforks to work in the way they do. Again, getting in the realm of the Andrews pitchfork is like achieving the highest peak of technical analysis.

In this video you will find a portion of technical analysis explained, which is the intersectionality of tools. Whether you swing trade or use technical analysis for day trading, the intersectionality of tools is the icing on the cake. It’s by no means the full picture, but it’s certainly a deal breaker most of the times due to the ease it adds to the final stages of price analysis.

Many amateur traders out there are looking for the secret forex strategy that supposedly only the forex masters possess. That’s the wrong way to look at this. There is no such thing as a secret forex strategy. There are only more sophisticated trading strategies that most of the trade or forex masters use. That’s because they understand that analytical power and tools must be built on solid ground.

A technical analysis tutorial can only be performed by a true trading master or a trading mentor. To achieve such status, a trader must understand all the little details and nuances of the important tools of technical analysis and price action analysis. Beyond all of that, a true trading master must have deep knowledge about domains that are much broader than trading. A good understanding of human behavior, economics, mathematics, statistics, physics and behavioral psychology is paramount for any trading mentor.

The Newtonian trading strategy is the most profitable day trading strategy, or at least one of the most profitable day trading strategies among the fractal flow, the market maker, and the upcoming price action trading strategy.
In the realm of advanced trading strategies, there are a few constant ideas that run across of all of the other peripheral ideas. This notion of building a strategy from the ground up using the first principles of physics and science is what truly allows the creation of an advanced price action course or an advanced technical analysis course, which actually goes much further than mere technical analysis.

A professional trading course, as it was previously alluded, can only be manufactured by a professional forex trader or any other pro trader. The motives for this are simple and yet not self-evident since people underestimate the complexity of trading. The best trading courses englobe a wide variety of subjects that shape and shift the life of a truly committed trader. Successful trading is not only about finding the best forex strategy ever produce, but it is also about absorbing the trading and life lessons of the best forex traders in the world, which have a very specific and laser accurate apprehension of the peculiarities of this enormously complex profession.

Ed, we use Reverse Engineering when using pitchforks find entry points and exit points and possible lines that the price will respect in the near future. Does that mean that there is not rule for when to use the modified Schif pitchfork, or the width pitchfork, or a pitchfork with its A anchor point placed in an abstract vector other than Reverse Engineering what the price has drawn. Or is there a systematic rule for when we use various pitchfork types. Thank you for the answer.

I truly wish someone with your knowledge would explain different strategies and methods with the limited DAS trader pro functions, I have watched many of your videos and I thank you for your time helping others to improve their trading

  3. Eddie Morra says:

That was very precise control over price vectors. However, I am struggling to find a fractal candle (off-set) in your charts. A video on how to detect a fractal candle would be awesome. Other thing I struggle is to identify proper market structure. Any guidance on that would be awesome (link or specific course etc)

These are the best and most helpful videos to me…it shows what happens in real life trading many times when the original pitchfork is not being respected, but how you can roll with it and use new pitchforks or modified the original pitchfork to still make sense of it. I wish this video was longer though and you would have kept going with it when the pitchfork failed again at the end in a major way. Thanks for the videos, please make more like this.

  5. Harsh Waghela says:

Great vid. So suppose if the price is taking resistance from the median line, should we expect a reversal? The price as I see it couldn't make a higher high in the end.

  6. Ajay Nets says:

Beautiful and easy way shown to draw pitchfork. Thanks. Instead of any meaningful contribution people should resist for any destructive criticism. If they don't like some video they should just leave and go.

  7. Alexander RUEDA says:

I use my andrews basically to put my TP and SL, if the trident is broken, I leave with a very low loss, and if occurs, I put the take profit mostly in the center line point. if I'm having profits and pitchfork brokes, I leave operation .

It's extremely easy to comment "i didnt find useful" but when you see that each 100 andrews u found 80 green operations, and 20 red operations closed with low loss, you can comment.

finally sry for my english if you find any grammar mistake.

Some people explain that one of the pitchfork criteria is that the 3rd point should NOT be lower than the 1st (on a bullish fork) and vice versa on a bearish fork.

    Other teachings say otherwise,

    https://school.stockcharts.com/doku.php?id=chart_analysis:andrews_pitchfork

My question is: Which is true? and what other criteria are there when applying a pitchfork. I am very skeptical about the tool which is taught differently by many people. It means, 1. someone is wrongly applying/teaching these things, 2. the tool itself is not fully understood.

I also read somewhere (Can't find the source now) that the 'handle' of the pitchfork – the length from A to the midpoint of BC, should not be shorter than the length of BC.

Can anyone verify these criteria/rules?? There are too many sources with different teachings. I tend to be skeptical of such a tool if people can't clearly define its criteria.

@Fractal Flow. Can you Validate these criteria, please?

  9. Mich Rollinson says:

I'm finding it very difficult to use pitchforks like this in real time. Assuming that a certain bar like the bearish one with buying pressure that touched the inward frequency line is the c axis of the pitchfork is a very bold assumption

  10. Pawan M says:

I didn't find it useful. It's very subjective to draw different pitchfork and to do frequency shift. You can draw pitchfork from different points and at the same time shift last drawn. Lot of subjectivity
