This is not helpful if you are trying to install plugins from a reputable producer like Waves, Arturia, Spectrosonics, or FXpansion. It seems to be geared towards people looking for cheap or freebie sounds from a specific website that I don't know about, don't care about, and won't mention. In other words it's useless to me.

This is incorrect. When I start a new project with a software instrument in Logic there's no drop-down menu saying 'default patch'. Just 'multi-timbral', output and open library.

With VSTs can I use one of my midi synths as my controller keyboard? (which is my usual mode of operation for the built-in Logic soft-synths etc). I guess my real question here is can I change/adjust the midi-channnel of the VST, like I can do with Logic soft-synths? Thx.

Yooo I Fluked It!!! Drag the "Nexus Content" folder into "Document" folders, where your other VST folders are etc "Native Instruments" "isotope" etc.. Boom.

This is the dumbest video ever. I don't think people have issues with a free download that includes an installer that automatically puts it in Logic X for you. We need a video on how to install manually.

Not all free plugins have an installer. Some, I would say MOST ask you to manually put the plugin components into the correct folders. That's what I was looking for.
