use 3 fingers for high bends with the ring finger being the note you are bending.

Cool Kirk Hammett guitar. Nice job of the solo. Skid Row still kick ass on my iPhone today. I am a result of the influences of the eighties and early nineties. Racer X still tops my play list though followed by others including Skid Row.

if u do not know thats a locking nut for a floating tremolo..maybe u should be learning jingle bells 1st

@AfzeliusHD Yep……to help in bending those strings a step and a half sometimes you will need the help of other fingers. Notice that i use more than one finger to help bend the note. Good luck and thanks for watching.

@SuperMetalmetallica It's a pinch harmonic with your right hand. I hold the pick very thin and then roll my thumb to lightly touch the string close to the neck pickup directly after picking it and it will pull out that harmonic of the string. It takes a little practice but it's not that hard to do. To raise or lower the harmonic pitch you simply move your right hand up or down the string to pull out different harmonics as needed. @RadicalZelinsky the key to the tone is using a good phase shifter, i use the EVH Phase 90. Another key is playing the notes with harmonic tones by lightly using your thumb to catch the harmonics. Vibrato is also key. Have fun.

@nigrigged I used a Sony AVCHD handycam with the power cord and the battery off the camera (less weight). I used a simple L bracket that I padded to protect the headstock and clamped it to the headstock. it was still very heavy, you can see that I had to hold the guitar kind of in an awkward way just so I could use that cam. I too loved how it looked on Kent Carievi's vids and obviously thats how I got the idea. Very hard to play that way! Working on an Iphone4 setup so it's not so heavy.
What i would really like to know is how you set your camera up for that "down the neck" shot. I have always like that since i watched kent carlevi and i was wondering how you set your camera up on the headstock of the guitar and what camera you used
