I NEVER would have guessed what this was if somebody just handed me the spec sheet! It's one of only a couple of guitars that are made this well at this price!

I bought this Guitar but the truss rod is at it tightening limit and there is still too much relief. Is your guitar normal?
I love my G290 fat. You have to put tubing over the trem springs. Fine other than that. This 300 seems awesome as well. But the finish is a little boring.
Stainles steel frets seem like a great feature. But can they be dressed or worked on if they aren’t perfectly leveled and shaped from the factory?

(Edit) I forgot..oh 6.9 lbs there's my answer for my nerve damaged chopped down to 1/4 right legs stump…. PERFECT! I have to deal with weight as perhaps my biggest priority…
I bought one of these based on this review and received it last month. I’m pretty blown away. The pickups are amazing, particularly the neck which gives an almost single coil quack. The neck is a tad chunky which I love and the fret work is great. Is it as good as my $1400 Carvin CT? Not quite. But for the $650 I paid new the Cort is probably one of the best deals in new guitars out there. I have an ESP SN-1000 FR made in Korea that, while nice, is a touch rougher than the Cort, and the Cort is several hundred dollars less. And the Cort’s neck pickup gets me close enough to a Strat sound without the hum….. just no Floyd Rose. I highly recommend this guitar.
I just bought a Charvel DK24… why would I need this?? Who cares. I just picked this exact model up on Reverb for $650 😀 STOKED!!
I've owned 3 Corts – M600 – M200 and a Curbow Bass by Cort. All fine instruments.
I'm looking to an upgrade to my G290 and would love to know if this has the same size neck. Would I be better off just upgrading the pickups to the Seymour Duncan's?

I hate superstrats. Strats are not supposed to be super. They're supposed to be strats. It's not really meaningful calling it a strat anyway if it's drowning in humbuckers and split coils …
The pickups , is that a JB in the bridge and a jazz ?? Nice review , nice guitar, sounds great ..
How is this even a super strat if it only has two humbuckers ?

Cort?
Never found a true Cort retailer in the USA…BUT…they are a top brand down here in Mexico and when I A/B a Cort against a similar spec Ibanez…the Corts are identical for 20-25% less..
It looks just like an FGN which sells for about the same
It does have lower specs but the Harley Benton Fusion II HH EB (been around a while) isn't too far off this and cost me about a third of this Cort…..about US $300 Made by Cort , locking tuners, Canadian maple neck, graphite nut, stainless steel frets, spoke wheel truss rod , Wilkinson dual point trem.. Where it falls down is pickups (Roswell vs SD), no thick maple cap and no roasting…………but still for $700 less?? I bought the HB and installed some Suhr Doug Alrich pickups and it screams. Not my best guitar by any means but amazing for the money.
Those pickups sound like garbage.

Really good review. Informative, articulate and very thorough. One of the best – maybe THE best reviewer on YouTube. Anderton's are informative and very entertaining but they only review stuff they are trying to sell you. As for Cort – who cares what's on the headstock? – I left that mentality behind years ago. I have a Cort G290LE and it is now my 'go to' guitar. My USA Fenders and my Gibson Les Paul and my three Musicman guitars are now gathering dust. I'll probably add this G300 to my collection as well. Ridiculous spec' for the money!!

This Cort G300 or the Esp ltd sn1000fr -black blast?
a full size pot is not necessarily better than a mini. both are available in both high and low quality. better to judge them on smooth feel, no weird sounds , and general behavior (preforms well).
The specs alone practically sell me on it. But the people who reviewed one have made it a buy. Will make it my main giving guitar
