Another song to learn from the Ænima album. Thank you sir for providing such an awesome video with a great layout with the tabs and everything. Makes learning these songs very friendly and not too much of a hassle.
Just simply watch, take a segment to learn, watch the tabs, pause, play, rewind, play repeat until I'm confident I got it down (this goes for everyone else too if you're here for the same reason I am 😎) , then move to the next segment. Eventually do that enough and boom, now I got the whole song down. Very awesome work man, keep on making those fantastic videos my good sir 👍🏼😎

Hi ! At your 167 im quite sure i dont see a note that i hear in the original song in this riff, i believe you should play 9-9-11-11 and 10-10-12-12, am i right ? I dont know how he plays it in lives and i assume you know better O:)
Thanks very much for this anyway, ive been on it the past 2 weeks and im really making progress thanks to you 🙂

Man, you've made learning this so much fun! I'm here working at home and in between my work I'm able to do other things (like play guitar). It took me less than 2 days to learn this song by heart. It's made so easy and fun the way you make your videos. Ich danke dir Max! Ich warte auf mehr covers!

Thank you for sharing this. Back in 1998 I had what tabs I could find. Your version seems much more correct. Also, I finally figured out how to do that loop through technique due to this video of yours. It feels so good once I finally nailed it and now it becomes an unconscious rhythm which is so nice.

This is the song which introduced Tool to my neurones doors.. it was the first sound I heard from them in the debut of the summer of 1998… never get tired of it till this moment !

I am waiting for that day when this guy finally reveals his face. And we all gonna see Adam jones with short grey hair 🤣🤣

Excellent as always. So great to finally have some verification on the pull-through techniques on this. Sounds so much better than the other way. Also that outro riff was new to me! Verified you are correct on the live videos, so thanks for letting me finally play the song correctly after 23 years! I'd like to request "jimmy" as the part around 4:214:35 has always been too difficult to decipher and I think only you can rise to the challenge. I really like the addition of the pedal display, but I think you should go one further and potentially display the approximate volume/tone knob setting during areas where Adam rolls back on the volume or tone. Though honestly, these are so good it doesn't matter. Thank you so much for the dedication. These songs mean so much to so many, and it is great to see them done this much justice!

Excellent job Maximus!! You nailed all the little nuances and your dynamics were impeccable. I didn't realize until just now that the rhythm guitar part is played with the finger pull thru technique on the 3rd position which would F. Great use of dynamics Max. If I could give you any advice, it would be to invest in a good volume pedal, especially when playing TOOL. Great job Max!!

I was just in the middle of putting my 2 year old kid to sleep, and this pops up… I sprinted to get my headphones and get back to him, he was a bit confused what the hell just happened, but I told him he'll understand when he'll grow up…
